The Acedemic Information page will have a link to my Performance Levels (Grades).

Exploring software

HTML:

HTML is a Hyper Text Markup Language. It use markup tags to describe web pages.

I think it is a good way to edit a web page because its the only language the browser knows. though they are still some disadvantages in using HTML, because it use ode which is hard and understand and difficult to write. It also takes a while to be familiar with the actual markup languages. HTML also uses many tags that have to be memorized in order to write it.

Both Front page and Dreamweaver are both WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) HTML editors. i think Dreamweaver is a good editor because it hides the HTML codes behind the real text, which allows non-coders to create web pages. I think Dreamweaver would be a suitable editor for me when i do create my digital portfolio. A disadvantage is that in order to make HTML pages, whose HTML code is larger than an optimally hand-coded page would be, can cause web browsers to perform poorly.

Wiki is a website that uses a markup language or a WYSIWYG text editor with in the browser. I think wiki is a good editor because it uses simpler code than the original HTML code. So it won't be as hard to memorize the code as the HTML original code. I wouldn't use A wiki editor for my digital portfolio because any Internet user can change the text.
